Tom has never been particularly good at staying in one lane. He has exceptional range. His career path has taken him from consulting in boardrooms to running an eco-tourism business among the volcanoes of Nicaragua.
Following his Central American adventure, he completed his MBA at the University of Oxford, where he was Managing Partner of the student-led Oxford Seed Fund before taking the leap to relocate to Byron Bay and become the first full-time team member at Onto Ventures.
Tom is endlessly curious about how things work and how they might work better. He spends his days seeking out founders building technologies that seem improbable today but inevitable in hindsight.
He’s fiercely loyal and passionately serves the founders he works alongside. He often accumulates 10,000+ steps on a single zoom call, loves house and hip-hop music in equal measure, and can recommend somewhere exceptional to eat in almost any city on Earth.
